Finally Understand Your Taxes and Your Numbers

Work with a CPA who explains what is happening in your business, keeps you compliant, and helps you plan ahead.

The Contractor Tax Clarity Program is built for construction business owners doing $2M to $30M per year who are tired of confusion, surprise tax bills, and CPAs who disappear.

This is ongoing tax and advisory support, not once-a-year paperwork.

If This Sounds Familiar, You Are in the Right Place

You get large tax bills and do not understand where they come from

Your CPA files the return but never explains your numbers

You feel behind, overwhelmed, and unsure about the future

What Happens If Nothing Changes

You keep getting blindsided by large avoidable tax bills

You continue making costly decisions without tax guidance

You lose another year toward retirement and long term security

A Clear, Ongoing Solution

Everything is done 100 percent virtually on your schedule.

Our Best Clients Had Questions Too

1. “How is this different from what my current CPA does? They already file my taxes.”

Most CPAs sell one thing: a once a year tax return. You drop documents, they disappear for months, a return shows up, and you get a bill.
This program is built around
quarterly strategy + education, with the tax return included. We meet regularly, review your numbers, talk through decisions (trucks, hires, distributions, etc.), and make sure there are no surprises when it is time to file.

2. “What exactly do I get for 500 dollars per month, and how long do I have to stay?”

For 500 dollars per month you get:

- Four 60 minute advisory calls per year

- One business tax return prepared and filed

- Email access for reasonable questions between calls

- Coordination with your bookkeeper and direct access to your QuickBooks file

It is month to month. There is an engagement agreement, but no long term lock-in. If you stop seeing value, you stop.

3. “My books are a mess / I’m behind on filings. Should I clean that up first or talk to you now?”

Talk now. We cannot build a smart plan on garbage data, but step one of the plan is fixing the data.
On the first consult we:

- Review whatever you do have (bank feeds, prior returns, spreadsheets)

- Decide whether a cleanup bookkeeper is needed

- Prioritize what must be fixed first so you get compliant and caught up

You do not have to be “ready.” Getting ready is part of the work we do together.

4. “Can you guarantee you’ll save me money on taxes?”

No, and anyone who promises that to every client is either lying or guessing.
Some contractors can save a lot just by structuring things correctly. Others are already fairly optimized and the value is in
clarity, compliance, and better future decisions, not a lower bill this year.
What I
can stand behind is: you will understand your numbers and options far better than you do today.

5. “Do you only work with contractors? What if I’m slightly outside that range or revenue?”

The program is designed for contractors doing roughly 2 million to 30 million per year, because that’s where the pain is worst: multiple crews, equipment, subs, and serious tax exposure.
If you are in a similar service business (or a contractor a bit above or below that range), we can still talk. If you’re not a fit, I’ll tell you straight and point you in a better direction.

6. “I’m slammed already. How much time will this actually take me?”

Realistically:

- Initial intake call: 30–45 minutes

- First deep dive consult: 60 minutes

- Then 60 minutes once a quarter

The rest is me and your bookkeeper doing the heavy lifting. Your main job is to show up, be honest about what’s happening, and ask questions. The goal is to save you time by reducing crises, not to create more meetings.

7. “Why would I choose a 100 percent virtual CPA instead of someone local I can sit down with?”

Most “local” meetings still end up being document drop-offs and rushed explanations.
Virtual lets us:

- Screen share your QuickBooks and returns in real time

- Record calls (with your permission) so you can replay explanations

- Schedule flexibly around your job sites

If you absolutely need to sit across a desk from your CPA, I am not your guy. If you care more about access, clarity, and speed than geography, virtual wins.

8. “What happens in the first 30 days if I sign up? What will actually change?”

In the first month you can expect:

1. Intake & onboarding – we get access to your prior return and books.

2. Deep dive consult (usually within a week) – you find out, in plain English, what is really going on and the biggest mistakes or risks.

3. Priority action list – specific moves for the next 90 days (structure, estimated taxes, spending decisions, cleanup plan).

If, after that first deep dive, you do not feel significantly clearer about your situation, you get your money back and we part ways.
